Can you tell my growth as a poet?

Daniel, you are a talented writer. There is no doubt of that. Your poetry tells very vivid stories, with an excellent eye for detail. My only critique would be that you get a bit wordy at times. One of the main differences between a poem and a short story is that a poem is condensed. I'm wondering, have you tried writing short stories instead of poems?
