Is my intake big enough for my dodge ram 1500?

I have an 06 dodge ram 1500 5.7L hemi and I replaced the stock intake filter yesterday with a spectre high flow filter cone. I attached it to the stock 4' hose that leads to the engine and I'm not sure if the one I have is big enough for the engines needs. The cone is between 7 and 8 inches long and 7 1/2 inches in diameter at it's base. Is this big enough for a 5.7L needs? Thanks!
