What do you find the best gun in Black Ops?

I know there is loads of guns in Black Ops and everyone has there favourite, but can someone tell me a very good gun for all game modes and what attachment and perks to have with it? I find the Spectre rapid fire with marathon lightweight and sleight of hand all pro the best class, because when rushing in any game mode with marathon pro people don't expect you to be there so quickly and are still waiting for someone to come through a more obvious route. So what's your opinion?
