Will a cold air intake imporve my gas mileage at all?

actually your car has an air filter that goes to the inner fender, this is a cold air intake. That sewer pipe with an air filter stuck to it, is not a cold air filter. It makes the intake noisy so you can hear the engine sucking air. That's it, it does not improve gas, it does not improve much on a stock small engine. Another thing that has not proven out are power chips. There is no magic 50 hp chip. None of this crap works. Ask your mechanic before doing anything. please. There have been many complaints from people who bought supposed bolt on filters that did not. or they hooked them up, and it set off a check engine light. and the car did not run right. Same thing with power chips, many online complaints, and some of them can damage engines. the company GM now invalidates warranties on cars with chips. if this stuff worked, we all would have one. That's the problem, none of them work for beans. Like I said, ask the mechanic, mine said if its not broken, don't fix it.
