Woah!!! was this my first period??? please answer!!! IM KINDA FREAKIN OUT!?

ok so i have all the signs, every single one. yesterday for the first time i experience super small spotting (4 dots the size of a tip on a stud of an earring) so i went to the bathroom to go pee, seeing a brownish spott a couple of centimeters away from where i normally get my discharge.... i cant tell if its wet or anything..... is it stained on crap? (bad diaherra for the past couple of days and its err hard to wipe all off? nasty i know even with a baby wipe) do you think this is my first period? im kinda confused....tommorow morning ill know for sure, but id like to be ready to tell my mum. we are going to get new sheets for my bed, so then i can get tampons and pads. please help im soooo confused???!!!!
